The 26-year-old hotel heiress Paris Hilton out of jail after just 3 days! She has been let out of jail and placed under house arrest after serving three days of a three-week sentence in a move that drew fire from prosecutors and sparked public debate about celebrity justice.

Officials said Paris Hilton, was released from jail for undisclosed medical reasons but was fitted with an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet and must remain confined to her house for the next 40 days.

TMZ cited unidentified law enforcement sources as saying a psychiatrist who visited her in jail on Wednesday found she was in danger of suffering a nervous breakdown.

Hilton had been housed in the “special needs” unit for celebrities and high-profile inmates at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, about 24 km from LA.

Paris Hilton was originally sentenced to 45 days for violating probation, but that was cut to 23 days.
